With 1,530 intact pieces, the Flora Danica service is not only the world's best-preserved show-piece dinnerware from the 18th century, but undoubtedly also the world's most stunning dinnerware when it comes to splendour, myths, and decorations. Brought to life on fragile white porcelain, these numerous pieces, with their intricate depictions of wild Danish botany, provide a vital key to understanding Enlightenment-era Denmark. Much like the Danish crown jewels, the dinnerware remains in active use today by the Royal House to mark very special occasions.
Inspired by this remarkable service and its many botanical illustrations, soSouvenir has designed a collection where every product is unique, and where the beautiful graphic gold rim from the original service serves as a unifying element.
