Asger Jorn’s artistic universe is huge, and throughout his career he has expressed himself across all art forms, from printmaking to ceramics and from painting to sculpture. It is a privilege to be able to delve into his wondrous and ever-changing universe and create products in collaboration with the museum and its shop
soSouvenir was asked if we could design a three-dimensional glass ornament based on Asger Jorn’s painting *The Disturbing Duckling* and also create a souvenir inspired by *The Long Journey*, the 14-metre-long woven tapestry created in collaboration between the French artist Pierre Wemaëre and Asger Jorn.
We succeeded; the duckling turned out beautifully and the tapestry became a lovely unisex scarf – and it’s always fun when things work out.
