The Old Town is perfect for time travelling: from the era of Hans Christian Andersen to ‘modern times’ of the 1920s and on to the rise of the Welfare State in the 1960s and 1970s. It has always been very important for The Old Town to tell the whole story of the various epochs that are represented in the town. With this as our starting point, soSouvenir has created a series of illustrations which visually link the periods up with the silhouette of the skyline of The Old Town.

The silhouettes can be used individually or together on all sorts of things - notices for the foyer as well as the range of merchandise designed by soSouvenir for sale in the museum shop. soSouvenir has also designed a range of Christmas decorations and tea-light holders with inspiration drawn from the hanging shop-signs in the oldest part of the town, as well as some of the iconic objects in the 1970s area.
