Nolde Museum is situated just south of the Danish border and is a popular destination for both Danes and Germans. The lovely view from the museum, which was originally Nolde’s home and studio, was a great source of inspiration for him.

Emil Nolde is famous for the strong colours in his expressionist paintings. He also made many woodcuts from which we have selected a few as the basis of the collection.
